Bug 1064538 has some new copy for the onboarding screens, and we should update the current single-screen version to match that.

Arcadio, Matej: here's a build you can download and install if you want to see how it looks on a phone. (You'll have to go to the phone's Settings > Apps > fennec liuche to clear the data to prompt the first run if it's been opened before.)

I think that's just the text wrapping funny..

Commented in bug 1131806. We should try "More privacy features and ways to customize than ever." instead. :)

One quick question: Why does it say "Fennec" in the strings? I didn't think that was a name we exposed to users.

We just use a variable to specify the branded app name, so on a local build it's "Fennec", but on beta it would be "Firefox Beta" and on release it would be "Firefox". Same goes for that icon we show.
